Dissemination is a term commonly used to describe the distribution of disseminate the manual to every school in the state." As such, the term "getting the word out" as a project is winding down. But if the ultimate R&D is to be realized, dissemination should signify the transfer of knowledge from their creators to full, effective, self-sustaining implementation by dissemination is not complete until adopters' behaviors have changed benefits of the knowledge or innovation. This cannot be accomplished a wide variety of efforts throughout the RD&D process, efforts that should outset and integrated into a comprehensive approach. Unfortunately, comprehensive planning is not commonplace and is hindered by a lack Concerns-Based Dissemination Matrix is offered as such a tool.
This proposed study will describe the state and federal policy context surrounding the Texas Technology Immersion Pilot (TIP) project, key partnerships supporting the project and scientific evaluation, the role of researchers in articulating a theoretical framework and scientific research design, the state's role in defining and supporting technology immersion, and challenges encountered that offer guidance for others undertaking large-scale technology initiatives.
